My mom is thinking about getting a golden retriever. I am a hunter and would be willing to train it if it would be a at least fairly good hunting dog. please tell me if it would be, and what it would take for me to train it to be able to pheasant hunt.

I have a 10 week old Golden Retriever puppy who will be allowed out in 3 weeks once she has her final jabs.

Could anyone tell me how long/far we should be walking her when she is 13 weeks old? And at what age do we increase the length/distance etc?

Murphy’s Open Standard run from the third and final day of the GMGRC Agility trial. Murphy had a clean run, first and Q (first OA leg) and was high scoring Golden Retriever!
