What commands should a hunting retriever know?

I’m pretty sure (actually I’m 100% sure) that ‘Santa’ is bringing us a Golden Retriever this year! I’ve been wondering what commands she will need to learn. Our family likes to dove hunt, so she’ll need to be capable of retrieving doves (and we’ll need to train her the proper commands to do so). I want a good working dog, but she does not have to be good enough for field trials.

In short-
1. What commands should a hunting retriever know?
2. How old should you start training your dog?

Now that the puppies are 5 and a half weeks old we start to take them outside after each meal. Over the next couple of weeks they will get use to eating and then going out for fun and play along with business. A bit of work, but everyone is happy with the results. Lubella the Golden Retriever! In this video she is approx. 6.5 weeks old to approx. 3.5 months old. She is a CKC certified Golden Retriever, purchased from Tomiskaway Kennels in Georgetown, Ontario. She is still a very hyper puppy but she is very smart and obeys… when she wants to!! It is important to train your dog everyday, especially with goldens. They are a breed that love to please so make them work for your attention and food to keep their little minds stimulated!!! "I have 2 20 week oln golden retrievers and the still poo and pee anywhere that they want they show no signs of wanting to go they even will pee while drinking. We feed them 3 times a day and they are taken out after each meal but all they doi is lay down ( we have tried putting them outside together and apart but nothing works we have trained two other dogs in the past we no problems and they both where fully house trained at 12 weeks. These two will even pee on their bed, they do not have a favourite spot tp go its anywhere and everywhere that they are at the time, we keep them in the kitchen most of the time and I am here in the kitchen with them nearly all the time and take them out regular but they go out and you can stand there for 15 mins and they will not go, bring them in and they will pee or poo, arrrrrrhhhhhhh!!!!!! Please help
My other dogs where house trained at that age and these 2 are crate trained and do go out at different times. I have had dogs my whole life and have never had a problem before, I was just looking for some ideas that I have not tried before!
After the food they will sometimes not poo for 1 to 3 hours afterwards, we have tried walking them straigh after but have been our for nearly an hour with them and still no poo
I have and do ALL of what you have suggested I take them outside and just stand with them and give the command to toilet which I have successfully used with all my other dogs they are crated trained at night and hold it all night and I am at home nearly ALL day apart from do the food shop and I stay with them in the kitchen all the time so giving the time and effort IS NOT the problem they have been cleared by the vet I just wanted abit of advice as I have tried it all
The breader let them pee and poo in the house and as soon as we got them home we have not let this happen its a habbit that they came with and we have tried everything to break it and I do watch them all day but they do not show the signs like other dogs do to wanting to go they will just get up and by the time I walk them to the back door which is only 3 foot from where they are they a squated but they can hold it all night long so they do have some level of control
